3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirements
Use of the Platform requires a minimum age consistent with applicable Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Our minimum age threshold is:
- Under 13: Only with documented institutional oversight and parental consent managed through an Organisation (school). Self-registration not permitted.
- Ages 13–17: With documented parental or guardian consent. Organisations enrolling users in this age range are responsible for obtaining and maintaining consent records.
- Ages 18 and above: Standard registration permitted.
3.2 Anonymous Access
The pH Assessment at ph.societrics.org is accessible without account registration. Anonymous users may complete and submit assessments without providing identifying information. Anonymous access does not create a contractual relationship equivalent to account registration, but Anonymous Users are still bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy in respect of their use of the Platform.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation
Registered accounts require accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4.2 Organisational Accounts
Organisations that subscribe to the Platform accept responsibility for: (a) obtaining valid consent from all members enrolled in their account; (b) ensuring members meet the age requirements of Section 3; (c) complying with the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) between the Organisation and MindBrood Initiative; and (d) training administrators and authorised users in proper Platform use per our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Services Description
5.1 Societrics Advisory — VCTR Personality Assessment
A personality assessment platform implementing the VCTR Framework (Visionary, Caregiver, Thinker, Resilient) across four age-appropriate tiers: Foundation (under 13, institutional only), Intermediate (13–17), Professional (18+), and Legacy (adult, extended). Individual assessment results are for self-development, educational guidance, and organisational team-building purposes. Results are also used in aggregate, anonymised form to construct the National Personality Index (NPI) — see Section 7.2.
5.2 Societrics pH Assessment — Community Health Measurement
A community institutional health measurement tool deploying the Societrics pH Instrument (18 items across the WSI Fundamentals and TPC Modifier layers). Available via authenticated account or anonymously. Individual responses are aggregated into community-level health scores. pH data contributes to population-level research under our Research Data Governance Policy.
5.3 Societrics Dashboard
An analytics platform providing organisational administrators with aggregate team insights, member assessment distributions, and reporting tools. Administrators access aggregate data only; individual member data is never accessible to other members.
5.4 Societrics Labs — SGT Crisis Monitor
An institutional early warning system tracking Societrics Game Theory (SGT) metrics including the Crisis Regime threshold ratio (Θ) for authorised jurisdictions. Available only to Research Partners and institutions that have received formal SGT authorisation under the SGT Containment and Authorisation Protocol. See Section 11 and the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. User Responsibilities
All Users — authenticated or anonymous — agree to:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Provide honest and accurate responses in assessments to the best of their knowledge
- Not deliberately submit false, manipulated, or coordinated false responses designed to distort community-level pH scores or NPI outputs (data poisoning)
- Respect the intellectual property rights of MindBrood Initiative
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary source code or methodology
- Not use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the Platform without explicit written permission
- Not interfere with or disrupt Platform operations, security, or infrastructure
- Comply with the Acceptable Use Policy in all aspects of Platform use
7. Intellectual Property

9. Disclaimers
9.1 Nature of Assessment Results
Societrics assessments are tools for self-reflection, educational guidance, organisational development, and population-level research. They are NOT:
- Medical or psychological diagnoses
- Substitutes for professional mental health services
- Determinants of employment suitability, academic admission, or creditworthiness
- Clinical measures of intelligence, capability, or mental health
- Predictions of individual behaviour or outcomes with certainty
9.2 pH Assessment Results
pH community health scores are aggregate institutional health indicators intended for research and policy guidance. They reflect community-level patterns, not individual performance. They should not be used to make consequential decisions about specific individuals, institutions, or communities without appropriate professional interpretation and corroborating evidence.
9.3 SGT Crisis Monitor
The SGT Crisis Monitor provides early warning indicators based on Societrics Game Theory methodology. It does not predict events with certainty and must not be the sole basis for policy, military, economic, or governance decisions. See Acceptable Use Policy §4 for SGT-specific restrictions.
9.4 No Warranty
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE, CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE, OR FREE FROM SECURITY VULNERABILITIES.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE NIGERIAN LAW, MINDBROOD INITIATIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Decisions made by any person or organisation based on assessment results, NPI outputs, or pH scores
- Service interruptions due to connectivity issues, including in offline field deployment contexts
- Actions of third parties, including Research Partners, Organisation administrators, or field enumerators
Our total aggregate liability to any User shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees paid by that User to MindBrood Initiative in the twelve months preceding the claim; or (b) ₦10,000.
11. SGT Authorisation and Access Control
Access to SGT-related features, including the Crisis Monitor, Θ calculations, and simulation tools, is governed by the SGT Containment and Authorisation Protocol (available at labs.societrics.org). Authorisation operates through three levels:
- Layer 1 (Pedagogical): Conceptual content. No equations, thresholds, or simulations.
- Layer 2 (Analytical): Formal SGT constructs for certified practitioners.
- Layer 3 (Governance): Full access for institutional partners only.
Unauthorised access to or use of SGT analytical features is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
12. Subscription and Payment
12.1 Free Tier
Basic features including one assessment and foundational results are available at no cost.
12.2 Paid Plans
Premium features (extended assessments, AI Advisor, professional connections, organisational analytics) require a paid subscription. Current pricing is published at app.societrics.org. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
12.3 Refund Policy

MindBrood Initiative shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, telecommunications failures, internet outages, power failures, government actions, civil unrest, security incidents, or acts of third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data as required by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to mediation. If mediation fails within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nigeria, whose jurisdiction you irrevocably submit to.
For Research Partners and institutional agreements governed by a separate DPA, the dispute resolution provisions of that DPA shall take precedence over this clause.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or Platform notification at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Anonymous Users are bound by the Terms in effect at the time of each access.
